Another post about being down the shore, Yup!

That's right ladies and gentlemen.... We have another blog post coming straight to you from early August. What pray tell did we do, on a weekend, during the summer? That's right, we went down the shore! We visited with Mommom, Poppop, Aunt Tina, Gulian, Gavin and baby Grant and had a lovely time.

Here is Gavin and Gulian checking out the dragonfly they caught in their bug cage. The kids spent HOURS this past weekend searching for various rolly bugs, crickets, chasing butterflies and dragonflies. Bugs are their new obsession. It might have something to do with Poppop taking them to Insectropolis recently.

What is being on the bathing beach without playing in the sand? I really need to get some smaller sand pails as well...we have tons of large ones which are too heavy once full for the kids to turn over and make sand castles with. I really do like sand castles, the ones that people spend hours on forming and sculpting the sand to where it looks like an actual castle from any fairytale. But my favorite kind to make is drizzle castles - might have to do with my lack of patience =)

Here are the kiddos at the bathing beach splashing and "surfing" the waves on the bay. The ocean temperature this year has been so very cold we opted both days to go to the bay instead as the water was much, much warmer.
