Maddie playing on the beach - trying to keep warm in her full body swimsuit. She gets cold SOOO fast! Of course, she denies it, even when she is standing shivering...
Playing in the waves is a new joy of hers...she likes splashing about and trying to stand on her head when waves come in!
Maddie playing at the playground. Daddy was "chasing" her through the holes in the tunnel which made her squeal and giggle!

Maddie enjoying Barnegat Bay over Labor Day weekend.

There was a call for more pictures of Mommy on the blog. So, here we are! Back in July, we went to a carnival and Maddie enjoyed riding the carosel. They were Maddie's "horses" and for several days after the carnival ended, when we would drive past the site, Maddie would ask where the horses were.
And here is a picture just of Mommy in Portland, Oregon at the Chinese Garden. Went there with my friend Marcia, enjoyed the garden and some lovely tea at their tea house.

I want to thank you for posting the info on my blog. It's very helpful. Somethings are just a mystery until I find out for myself! I prefer to have a heads up, so thank you.

Hey- I recognize that garden! I was there in June- pretty, huh?
Maddie is becoming such a big girl- it is amazing to see her grow so much so quickly, even from afar.
Aunt Bethie
Oooooo, pictures!!! I second Auntie Beth - it's just amazing how quickly Maddie is growing out of toddler-hood and into being a a very grown-up looking little girl. She's simply GORGEOUS!
Hi Kim!! Didn't know you had a blog but I've got it bookmarked now! Great Pics! I can't seem to get three organized enough to really get the good beach pictures. Maybe next summer.
